Good Day and Welcome Emily ,

  • Tell us where did your modeling all start for you and where do you come from ?

I started modelling for fun when I was 18 years old at university. I’ve met a lot of photographers both in the UK and now in Australia, where I live. Originally I am from England, now I live in Sydney, Australia and I love it!

  • Congratulations on being chosen as our NOVEMBER 2016 cover model how does it make you feel ?

Thank you. It’s great! “Kudos”  to the whole team, as without them we wouldn’t have gotten such a great result.

  • What was the experience like working and doing a photo shoot with the master himself and our contributing photographer Vincent Gotti Photography on set and location?

Vincent is AMAZING! I have worked with him a few times now and he is a fantastic photographer and now a friend. I have a lot of respect for him, he has a great eye for photography and makes you feel so comfortable.

  • As your based in Australia, give us a glimpse on how different the modeling scene is in Australia comparing to other countries like USA , EUROPE or AFRICA for example ?

In every country there is competition to be a model. We live in a day and age where social media is taking over so I don’t think that the country you’re based in makes much of a difference overall, especially as the world is getting smaller. Each country does of course have a different look or requirement for their models, but this can also vary from agency to agency too.

  • What would you say is your best assets or attributes as a model, what makes you feel SEXY?

My legs and my butt haha. I take pride in those assets for sure. What makes me feel sexy is wearing clothes that fit well. You don’t have to be stick thin to look and feel sexy ladies! Dress well, dress to suit your body, your confidence will thrive and you’ll ooze sexy.

  • What is your Modeling accomplishments thus far ?

Working with so many different photographers and makeup artists from the UK, Australia and the USA. My accomplishments are measured in the friendships I take away from these experiences. I love to be creative and work with people I trust and get along with. I now have people here and in the UK who I can just call up for a fun creative session to create some magic.

  • Dream destination that you want to do that ultimate photo shoot at one day and why ?

This is a hard one! There are so many! I’ve always wanted to travel to Bora Bora or Tahiti in French Polynesia, a shoot on the beach or by some beautiful beach huts next to crystal blue water in the gorgeous sunshine would be perfect.

  • In your own words describe to us why it is so important to work with the correct agent in the modeling industry today and why ?

Agents know what they are doing (if they’re a good agency – be careful there are ones out there that aren’t good, so do your research). They know how to prepare you from your portfolio to putting you forward for work. They liaise with the client and you then do your work as a model. There are a lot of scam artists out there and if anyone is looking to get into modelling I would highly recommend that you research the agency and speak with models who are associated with the agencies/have worked with photographers before you work with them.

  • What does the word “fashion” mean to you?

This is very fluid, and certainly depends on the person. To me “fashion” is something that is on trend. Fashion doesn’t have to be expensive, so don’t think for one second you have to spend a fortune to look good.

  • How much attention do you pay to fashion in the way you dress?

I’m pretty relaxed in my day to day dress and I’ve never been a big “labels” person. Having said that I do like to look good and take pride in the way I dress. For special occasions I’ll make an extra special effort.

  • Everyone of us has some sort of guilty pleasure whats yours?

Sugar! I have a very sweet tooth and I’m totally addicted!

  • What excites and makes you smile the most in life ?

Travel – I love to travel. The more I travel and experience new places, cultures and see the more happy I am. I always try to travel somewhere new each year.

  • HOBBIES to make you feel relaxed and just be yourself for a day ?

  • Whats your plans and projects for whats left of 2016 what can we get to expect from you ?

I’ve just started my own business and I’m super excited to see how it goes!
