Welcome Back MOLLBABE Simone Shannon Smith, how does it feel to feature yet again with us today and be part of our JULY 2019 issue?

Thank you so much for having me part of the July 2019 issue, and being featured this year I’m so blessed and humble.

Simone, share with us and tell us something that your fans / followers and friends would not ordinary know about yourself?… ” As the saying goes the stage is yours today”

“Well I have a talent that not many people know about and that is playing the guitar.”

Welcome to the MOLLBABE FAMILY aka Courtney Whittaker Photography, we would like to know where and how did the passion for photography all start for you as a photographer?

Looking back over the 6 years it’s been a roller-coaster ride. Having studied art for 8 years schooling and Varsity Graphic Design was my passion. I then majored in Fine Art and Ceramic Design. So, the foundation was there but the seed came about when I realized that photos are the only way we can reflect on our past besides memories. Having said that it is always fun picking up a camera and creating fantastic photos, but also having to work with incredible people and making new friends and clients.

Courtney what’s your inspiration behind your photography work you do as a photographer explain?

I’ve always been drawn to color and light. Everything then falls into place. There’s also the art aspect with composition and the overall process that draws one into doing more and crafting better and better images with each shoot. There’s also that fine balance between,

“what you envision and creating it and seeing it come alive on camera.”

Doing this photo shoot together and feature for us today Simone and Courtney, what is the one thing you can take out and will stand out for you as working together on this shoot you did together?

Simone as a model – Our shoot was squeezed into his very tight schedule trip to Cape Town as he does most of his photography work in PE aka Port Elizabeth, Courtney was fully booked until a model cancelled and then he slotted me in for a fun and professional shoot.

The photo shoot literally in the back garden with my MOM and FRIENDS watching from a distance. What stood out for me that he wasn’t like any photographers I’ve worked with when it comes to shooting a theme. He made me feel comfortable in what I wanted to wear which made posing for me effortless, Courtney’s depth of perception has made it incredibly hard for me to shoot with just any other photographer in future, as Courtney’s work is truly sublime.

Courtney as a photographer – It was a huge plus doing this shoot. I travel extensively for shoots and when Simone and I discussed things I think I was more excited to do the shoot if you know what I mean but looking at the final images I was so pleased we created this being our first shoot and meeting for the first time.

What’s your message to your fans and our readers today for the month of JULY as the spotlight is yours so please share?

Simone as a MOLLBABE MODEL – Thank you so much for your ongoing and continued support it truly means the world to me, and always remember “Nothing is impossible in life itself, when you dream it, you can do it.”

Courtney as a photographer – “Always do your best, follow your dreams and inspire yourself and others.” It’s always been my dream to shoot someone famous…thank you Simone
