November Month is the month we BRING OUT THE TRUE SUPER POWER within ourselves, as we work hard within ourselves to shine and make those inspiration moments in life take center stage. With today’s NOVEMBER 2021 MOLLMAG SOUTH AFRICA cover model, that statement is so so true.
Introducing MOLLMAGSA #MISSNOVEMBER2021 aka Makayla Rogerson alongside the Photography masterclass aka Robert J Deak, as Robert & Makayla, bring that SUPER POWER OF WOMEN factor this month with that RUSTIC BEAUTY LOOK!
All the way from CANADA, Makayla is a true inspiration when it comes to being FASHION & LIFESTYLE model, as well as a MODELING COACH HERSELF to the younger up and coming generation for the future!
And this is exactly why Makayla fits the theme and vision for this month for NOVEMBER 2021… in embracing the “TRUE SUPER POWER OF WOMEN” as we recently asked Makayla, what is it that is a women’s true SUPER POWER and we quote her as follows:
“For myself; A Woman’s True Super Power Is unique to her, it is something that comes naturally to her (or anyone in that matter).”
Let’s find out more, as our MOLLMAGSA CEO Arne Schreuder interview’s Makayla & Photographer Robert J Deak in today’s editorial feature “THE SUPER POWER OF A WOMAN RUSTIC BEAUTY”
A huge welcome back to Makayla and Photographer Robert, congrats on your covergirl feature with us today for the month of NOVEMBER 2021 for MOLLMAG SOUTH AFRICA, how do you feel knowing that you made the cover for this month?
MODEL MAKAYLA – I feel grateful and honored to have a second cover with this amazing magazine!
ROBERT J DEAK PHOTOGRAPHY – I feel honored to be featured again! “Makayla and I are on a roll with getting cover’s this month!”
In today’s feature and theme, the focus is on “THE SUPER POWER OF A WOMAN” what is the one thing that you will remember from this shoot and feature today, take us Behind the Scenes, what was the plan and idea brainstorm story behind it share with us please?
MAKAYLA FROM A MODEL’S VIEW – Robert and I have been working together for a long while and we grow our skills with each shoot; this particular one we were both in a great mindset and really got some strong and powerful shots (some of the best we’ve done).
“I think Robert and I can both agree that my super power is being able to fit so many different looks when it comes to modeling.”
ROBERT J DEAK FROM A PHOTOGRAPHER’S VIEW – First off me and Arne discussed the theme and idea in detail via social media, then Makayla and I did this shoot with very simple planning,
but then on the day we shot two different sets. One specifically for this feature and another one for our portfolios so it was a very productive day.
In your own words please complete the following statement in what it means for you… “A WOMEN’S TRUE SUPER POWER IS…?”
MODEL MAKAYLA – “For myself; A Woman’s True Super Power Is unique to her, it is something that comes naturally to her (or anyone in that matter).”
ROBERT J DEAK PHOTOGRAPHY – “To be strong and beautiful. Kind and fierce.”
Robert back to you, as a photographer tell us what is the most difficult genre to shoot / photograph for you as a photographer, what challenges you the most when it comes to being a professional photographer in today’s day and age, give us the TOP 5 FACTORS in your book that plays a big role for you?
Children and pets are the most difficult to shoot obviously. When it comes to models, not staying in contact with the team is also very challenging because, it’s very difficult to plan a collaboration if not all members of the team are included.
The thing that challenges me the most about photography is business. I would say that I’m very talented as a photographer. I can shoot almost any style or genre with proficiency, but when it comes to finding new clients, marketing and working with commercial clients it is the most challenging for me.
Makayla this one’s for you, what is the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your modeling career thus far that you can share with other upcoming models for the future whom look up to you?
“Something I’ve learned over these few years is to just go for it; no matter what the opportunity is, you go for it and give it your all!”
Let’s talk about social media, what is your view on the following aka FACEBOOK NAME AND REBRANDING IT’S PLATFORM TO THE NEW NAME AKA META?
MODEL MAKAYLA – I honestly have no opinion as I haven’t done enough reading/research on the topic.
ROBERT J DEAK PHOTOGRAPHY – If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. However, while saying that…if I could delete Facebook forever I would. So many of us stay in contact with each other using Facebook, but it’s probably my least favorite of my social media.
